Spring is finally here! That means it’s time to get ready for the Recital. More information on the annual year end show will follow in the next newsletter.

We are delighted to announce The Dance Zone has once again been voted #1 Dance Studio in Vaughan for the 14th year in a row! We appreciate all of your support and thank everyone who voted for us!

Best of luck to our competitive team who have been very busy preparing for their upcoming first competition this week in Guelph...our first competition of the season!

Photo Day for our recreational program is scheduled for Sunday June 2nd  at our Jane location.

Please make sure that you have received a copy of the picture day schedule for specific times.  The schedule will be given out 1 week before the picture date indicated above.

There is no obligation to purchase any pictures.

Please note that classes for our 2023/2024 season end on Saturday June 8th.  Rehearsal for our Recreational program will be held at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts on Thursday June 13th (during the day).  Attendance is not mandatory but strongly encouraged.  Schedule to follow.

Our annual recital will be held at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Art from Friday June 14 - Sunday June 16, 2024. 

Please note that your kids will be dancing in 2 of the 4 shows.

Weston location dancers will dance in the Friday 7:00 PM  and Saturday 12:00 PM shows

Jane location dancers will dance in both shows on Saturday at 12:00 PM & 7:00 PM.

Our competitive showcase is on Sunday June 16th at 7:00 PM.  More details to follow.

Costumes for the Weston and Jane location students will be available for pick up 1-2 weeks before their Picture Day. Costume balances are due at time of pick up. Payment can be made by cash, direct debit or credit card (please note there is a 3% service charge on credit card transactions only).

Designs for our 25th anniversary hoody are being finalized.  They will be available for purchase to anyone interested.  Price TBD.  Further details will be provided to you as soon as they are available.

Registration will be open for our upcoming 2024/2025 season as of Monday April 22nd!

OR  in person Tuesdays 6:00 - 9:00 PM or Saturdays 9:00 - 4:00 PM at our Jane location or Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:00 - 9:00 PM and Saturdays 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM at our Weston location.

We will be holding 2 dance camps this summer July 2nd - 12th  and August 6th - 16th (not including weekends).  The camp will be held at our Jane location. There are limited spots available for our Summer Dance Camp. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. The fee is $349.00 plus HST for the 2 weeks. 

The camp involves Hip Hop, Jazz, Acro, arts & crafts, games and pizza Fridays. Children should wear comfortable clothing (shorts / t-shirts / running shoes). It’ s an all female teaching staff and no previous experience is required. It’s all about the children having fun! Drop off is from 8:30 - 9:00 AM and pickup is from 4:00 - 4:30 PM.
